Should a photojournalists ethics be absolute or situational? Why?
Can a photo really capture truth? Why or why not?
What decisions have you made as a photographer that "edit" reality? Explain.
Why is it important that news organizations have clearly defined ethical standards?

they should not do any changing with any photo becuase its like lieing to the public the public should know the truth about everything, if there is something that the public should not know! then dont right about it! its sounds hard but

the new one

i like how this picture shows a lot of facial expression and shows how he is struggling to get to the finish!

this one shows the same thing but in a different angle!

like he is on his way to the finish, but not yet struggling!

this one shows how he is on his way to the finish with his competition right behind him

my photo shoot!!!! =D

1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get close, capture real moments, and capture action or emotion? How did you deal with these?

well some of the challanges i had with taking picture was that some of the people wanted to do non cainded shots, and shots of them like smilling or something!!!! and i was like crap!! you cant do that!!, and some pictures i saw that whould have been very good!!! there was somthing always in the way! like a table or a wall!! and some people whould look at the camrea or would say "what the hell are you doing," and the emotions of most people were normal witch was good for me because! i got some great shots of them working !

2. What technical aspects of photography (focus, exposure, composition) did you find yourself thinking about the most, and how did you make sure you did these correctly?

well the truth is i did not think too much of that! i was mostly focused on getting/finding a great shot! now i did come to a room that was dark!! and the lighting was coming in through the windows making a very awsome light beam! and i was really thinking about the exposure, and how its going to come out!, so i did take a few of the same pictures but changhing the exposure just to see how it would come out!

3. Describe how you attempted to use at least one of the advanced composition techniques when you shot.

well i did try one, were you take a picture of a person but they are out of focus! so when they come out they will be in focus but the background would be way aout of focus!, OH! and nothero17ne that i did, (well not really an advanced techiquce) but i think i was im not sure but when i took the shot i was moving to the side kind of fast/slow so whem the picture came out! it the blur of the shot would be moving to the right and left!! wich i thing might look kinda cool!! =D thanks! yall
